The owners of this wonderful and up-and-coming establishment came to Triton with a handful of issues that needed to be solved and quickly. At its core, the restaurant was having audio control issues, security camera issues and sound transfer from their space to the space above (A spa and salon). The current equipment was not secure either. The current Network Video Recorder was open to access while the amps and level controls were accessible to the public and located in a high traffic area.
The Resolutions:
Audio - A full overhaul of their audio system was in order. Their current system was pieced together using older equipment that did not support their current speaker layout.
Triton installed three new Ubiquiti Power Amps that are controlled via iPad. The zones were split into areas that made sense for their control in the event levels needed to be adjusted quickly. The total speaker coverage within the bar totals 6 speakers while the front for Al Fresco dining has a total of 4 speakers. The staff now has the ability to control these zones however they see fit and toggle their audio between Music and Streaming to Game Day Audio for sporting or special events broadcasted on TV.
Security - 6 new high resolution cameras were installed landing to a secure and lockable rack. The previous system had faulty and low quality connects and even touching them caused feeds to drop in and out. Since this is a bar and restaurant, cameras were selected based off of low level lighting. During the evenings and nights the cameras operate flawlessly when they transition from full color to Infrared.
Audio Bleeding into Above Space - The Client had attempted to solve this issue on their own but were still having issues and complaints from above. Triton worked with the client to fashion sound deadening boxes to place above the speakers in the ceiling.
